Best Available Techniques (BAT) and cleaner technologies

Best Available Techniques (BAT) have not yet been developed for the wood sector (see the web site of the European Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Bureau (EIPPCB) the European Competent Body for BAT.

Some examples of cleaner technologies applied to the wood sector are:

New timber finishing processes reducing solvent usage and VOC emissions
CSR wood panels
Wood protection techniques
EPA profile of the wood furniture and fixtures industry
Painting techniques and wood varnishes
Wood processing and furniture making
